Cardan Type Conveyor System

• Conveyor rail made of 3 mm plate by a special flexion and is coated with powder paint. Rails are mounted each other by flanges and bolt nut connection. Chain material is made of quality steel material and subjected to hot treatment. Because of this, abrasion and extension is in minimum level.

• Bearings are resistant to high temperature and with C3 hallow. Movement feature of cardan type conveyor in X,Y and Z axis has an advantage compared to other conveyor types.

• Tensioning station consist of two nested constructions. Movement is realised by four carrying rollers on the corners of inner construction. It can be lubricated by grease nipples located on it.

• Drive station is manufactured in caterpillar type. Flender MotoX brand reducer provide a quiet and vibration-free movement of 1,5 kw. In emergency cases, it has a reverse operation feature for 5-10 minutes in short intervals. In case of jamming of conveyor, the torque limiter located on drive station prevents any damage to the drive motor by cutting circuit. Speed control range in conveyor is 0.7 to 4.25 m / min.

• Lubrication of cardan conveyor is made automatically. In lubrication system controlled by pneumatic valves, oil is sprayed to bearings passing from lubri- cation rail with nozzles. Direction of nozzles, amount of the oil to be sprayed and distance between nozzles and bearings can be adjusted when necessary. Lubrication system is controlled from board and can be turned on and off on demand. Operator does not have to deal with grease nipple as in other system.

• Conveyor rail is fixed to poles and furnace with steel construction and poles. By taking into consideration the extension of conveyor due to temperature, special type hangers are used in furnaces. Special type hangers are available in other units of facility.

• There are emergency stop button at the required points on the conveyor.
